Zimbabwe

A tree in Zimbabwe...

I have been in contact with a couple living and working in Zimbabwe for the Salvation Army. After all of the research that I have done about Zim, I have felt compelled to help in some way. So I asked what I could send them and this is Rochelle's response....

Thanks for being willing to send a package. What kind of thing were you thinking? There are a few options. You could send a little care package for kids (like pencils, crayons, colouring book, things like that) or you could send us a love package (full of chocolate!) or you could send anything else. It just depends what you were thinking of. And you don't want to send anything too heavy...

So this is what I want to do! I thought that I would visit the dollar store for coloring books and crayons and maybe some reading books. After my research, I learned that a lot of the people there are trying to farm their own food so I thought even some seeds for fruits and vegetables. I'm not sure what the cost would be to send a package but I'm going to find out. If anyone wants to help get things or the cost of shipping let me know. If you have the time read a couple of things from their blog..at...
