So our annual trip to the Girl scout lodge was great. We got a lot of fishing in and lots of resting.
Sunday we had dinner at Sleders. Sleders is an old bar established in 1873 I believe, that is now know for the big moose head hanging on the wall. Randolph the moose is know for his good kiss's and if you are brave enough you can climb the step stool and "smoouch the moose". This year no one attempted the kiss, besides how many people have kissed that big thing anyways? Monday and Tuesday we did some fishing on a beautiful lake there and hung out at that lodge. Wednesday started out with rain so me and Tom took the kids to the mall to ride the carousel and Mom and Jamie went to the casino. Mom, well, she had a fantastic time at the casino, she won the progressive jackpot on the pennie machine, she won so much that they sent security over and took her picture to post above the machine she won on. Lucky Duck! Wednesday night was our big fish fry, my bro cooked us up some yum fixin's of bass and pike. Did I say it was yum? It was YUM! Thursday we headed to Don's for lunch and then to shop downtown. Grandma shared her winnings with the kids so they had money to spend downtown. After that more fishing, Evan really couldn't get enough of fishing. I think it was that big bass he caught, he wanted more..Friday home to catch up on sleep...
Saturday I planted annuals at my Moms and Tom's Mom. Sunday Tom fixed burgers and dogs for the Moms and Aunt Karen. It was a nice day despite the rain..
Monday back to the norm, I should be doing homework but this seem more fun...Hope all the Moms reading this had a wonderful mothers day I did...
