Part Two of Weekend

Saturday we drove down to Detroit for the Red Bull Air races. We rode down with Tom's parents, had breakfast and continued to the air race to meet up with Tom's friends; Eric, Lindsay, Tim, Joelle, Steve, Tim and Toms Family and Friends were all there too. The show was suppose to start at 1:00 but Mother Nature had a different idea of a show and that was wind. So they waited til 3:00 to see if the high winds would die down so that it was safe for the planes to fly. So about 3:45 or so they announced that Mother Nature had won the battle and the wind was not ending any time soon so they canceled the show. We didn't miss out completely, we did see a F-18, b-25 and some stunt planes. They gave us a little show, well basically got us all excited about seeing the air races that never happen but anyway here are some pictures that I did get..

Sunday we spent all day at Hometown days. We watched little Ashlyn gird (thats Evan's Baby talk for girl, it has stuck with us all) win 4th in the baby contest and then rode the rides with Kara, and the Denton's from 12:00 to 7:00. Whoosh! what a exhausting day..
