We had a wonderful day at the Okenka's for the fourth of July. It is always a highlight for the kids and Me and Tom. The girls run around the farm playing, well whatever they play, the boys enjoy swimming, baseball, playing in the sand, and any other game they can come up with. I personally enjoyed eating all the goodies and then felt horrible by the end of the night, why did I do that?
Later, we ventured over to the High school cause the paper posted three days that there would be fireworks. So us and the Denton's piled in our cars and drove there to see....well see nothing but smaller works going on around the area. Either they were really cancelled at the last minute or they were never going to happen in the first place, fortunally we were blessed with the neighbors lovily fireworksand loud music all the way into the wee hours..The most important things is that we still have our freedom and spent the day with friends because we can!!!
