So our household is running on a constant moving track. Days consist of school, swim practice, band and football (and one night of cheer clinic for Syd). It does make time go by pretty fast, not so sure I like that idea tho.
Elissa turned 14 this past weekend along with celebrating her first ever homecoming dance, which included marching in the parade, playing in the band at the football game and then the next day the dance.

And here she is, our homecoming gal. We had a mini Mom & daughter day, picked out jewelry had lunch together and then got her hair and make-up done. We met up later with her girlfriends for a photo shoot at the studio. Elissa looked extra beautiful with her hair done and make-up on. Both me and Dad agree that her not wearing make-up or doing her hair is not such a bad deal. If she looked like this everyday at school, Dad wouldn't have enough time to dig holes for all the boys that came calling.
During the parade, my mother in law made all these signs that said Happy Birthday Elissa. We stood proud waiting for Elissa to come by.
