First Day of School was a Success.

First day of School was just a half day, but it started early. First, Eilssa boarded the bus around 11am and headed out to the Middle School for her first day of 7th grade. She said her first day was fine except that Jeff wasn't in her group. Today is the first whole day, the day that really counts for school starting.

An hour later it was time to take Evan to school to start his half day. His school lines the kids up outside and cheer the teachers on when they come out to meet their students. The teachers take attendance then line up the kids and go into class.

Of course Syd needed a picture with her big brother. They like to argue and fight, but boy does she love him at the same time.

After we dropped Ev' off Syd started to get sad, almost crying, that she already missed her broder. (Brother) I thought oh boy here we go. Although today she is fine because the neighbor boy who is 3 is staying with us till this afternoon. So she isn't thinking about Evan right now.

Evan's first soccer game is at 10 on Saturday, Thursday we will find out what time Poms starts. The crazy months of September and October are begining..
