Life has been busy with ups and downs..

So first of all, I have a cousin Chris who was admitted into the ICU in South Carolina that had double phenomena which later turned into other complications like kidney failure and liver failure. It is a scary situation knowing that he is suffering so bad. As of right now, from what I know he is still in ICU but I'm guessing stable and things are not getting worse. No news is good news, right?

Our other situation is my Uncle Frank, my Mom's brother, had to have multiple surgery's on clogged arteries including a 5 heart bypass. He is now trying to recover, but having some set backs along the way. He woke up to so much swelling that he lost strength and movement in his right arm/hand and movement in his left hand. Those problems have gotten better, but now he has an infection somewhere and the Doctors are trying to figure out what and where it is coming from. So he is in limbo anxiously waiting & wanting to go home.

Elissa had her first half time show as a marching band member. For their first time they did pretty well. I do have video and that will be the next task to post on here to share with ya'll. We are hoping that this will change her mind about not dropping out of band. A little birdie across the road told her that band people are nerds. I was in band and I was no nerd!!

Last Saturday caught Ryan's last football game, it was cold, rainy and cold. They ended their season undefeated. It just so happen that Ryan was playing our undefeated team from here.
Yesterday was the celebration of my Mom and Bro's birthday. Me and Mom spent the day at Soaring Eagle casino while the kids were in school. (thanks to my mother-n-law for getting Syd) We didn't come back with any big money amounts but we did come back with great memories. We had fun!!

So what else is up? We will have the Denton's over for Halloween and go trick-or-treating in the 25 mile wind gust and hopefully no rain. After that it will be candy eatin time for all the kids..I'm really hoping that our schedules slow down for a while that way I can find time to help mom paint and set up her scrap-booking room. Must be nice!!
