Lately!!

Things are still alright here in our home. I'm working a lot or at least it feels that way. I'm one of the few people that likes Mondays because that is my only for sure day off. I'm enjoying taking pictures of people, especially little babies, and the kids that think it's fun. All those other kids that are scared, well I don't always enjoy them so much. The funny thing is is that most kids that cry seem to be afraid of the lights. Some kids won't take their eyes of the one light hanging from the ceiling, it is kind of funny.

Met a remarkable family the other day. They had 3 biological children and 2 adopted foster children. They had brought their (adopted) son in for his one year pictures, cake and balloons, the pictures turned out great, as we were viewing the pic's the Mom received a phone call and stepped away. Our viewing was put on hold while she talked. I over hear her conversation and she states "she is 3 months old and has health issues, okay let me ask my husband" she says to him " she is 3 months old with health issues and needs a home, do you want to take her in?" Without hesitation her husband says "yes of course"..All the kids responded with "aawwww!!" and then the Dad starts to cry, then the children, and then of course me. It was just amazing. Before the Mom hung up she asked the person on the phone "can we come get her right now?" The kids again started to cry, and then the Dad, and of course then me. This family has had over 26 children come thru their homes and they have loved them all, in fact they said they are still in contact with all of the children but one..

This coming weekend we are headed North again this time to Traverse City Great Wolf Lodge. We are not doing the girl scout lodge this year so we are doing the water park thing instead. It will be Us, my Mom, Amy, Ryan and baby Jade who is 7 months already, can't wait to love on her for two days..hehehe!!!!
