End of First Semester

Happy Girl..Baby Jade
Last night was parent-teacher conference with Evan and Sydney's teachers. First was Sydney's, she had a few areas of concern when we got her report card because it stated she needed to work on somethings, things that needed to be master at this point. After reading the report card, we quizzed her on some of these things and she did fine. She does have problems remember her Q's, but not her P's (haha) and the letter V is confused with F. I think those two letters are more confusing due to the sounds they make. So we are going to be working on that and counting and writing numbers, which she is pretty good at but didn't display that to her teacher. Minor things we can't fix..
Evan is such a funny kid, he meet us at the door last night after the conference wanting to know how he is doing. He is doing fine, as Tom stated last night "he is true to himself" he is not a writer, no imagination for him, and there really has never been. He would only play what he watched on tv starting with Little People Videos to Hot wheels and Star Wars, as long as he has an example he will then go off and play what he watched. I know silly, but that has always been the way he is. His teacher read him a story then asked him to think of some possible endings or continuations of the story and he could barely come up with one, and he needed three. All in all he his succeeding well and he is where he needs to be and above on somethings.
Elissa grades (all A's one B, one C) are monitor on an awesome parent web site that teachers record all grades and homework for students and parents to check when ever. All the teachers email address are easily accessible if we need to contact them. Her conference are later this evening, her grades were pretty good, she only had one class that missed assignments which hurt her grade. I have confidence in her that this marking period will be even better than last. WHY? Because I think she missed having her phone for a month..
MMM!!!
Have a spectacular day!
